On behalf of the Indian Prairie Parents’ Council, we would like to welcome you to our website. IPPC is the umbrella organization of all 31 District 204 PTA’s and PTSA’s and reports to PTA District 32, which is made up of all area councils in DuPage County. Our voting body, comprised of the PTA President and one IPPC Representative from each local unit, meets monthly to share information about issues in District 204, while sharing its commitment to the goals of Illinois and National PTA.
Our goal with this website is two-fold:
- To provide members with information to support PTA activities and goals and;
- To provide information to the District 204 community on issues such as the importance of parent/guardian involvement in their child’s education and school.
We hope you find our website easy to navigate. Clicking on any of the buttons to the left will help you to explore and utilize the many different sections of our website. A few sections we would like to draw your attention to include our committee work section, which emphasizes the work our organization is currently focusing on, our members area, a password protected section that is of particular benefit to our member units, and the Illinois and National PTA websites, which allows everyone the opportunity to learn more about our parent organizations.
If you are not a member of your school's PTA, we encourage you to join. You can reach most of our PTA’s websites by clicking on the “Visit a School’s Homepage” button in the upper right hand corner of this page. Follow the prompts to the PTA section and their membership forms.
If you have questions about IPPC or suggestions for how our website can better serve the needs of District 204 parents, please feel free to contact any of us.
Sincerely,
Indian Prairie Parents’ Council
