1st Annual Scholarship Celebrity Basketball Game
A HUGE SUCCESS! $10,600 raised! Proceeds from the event will benefit the IPPC Scholarship fund, which provides college scholarships for graduating Neuqua and
Waubonsie Valley High School students.
The Indian Prairie Parent’s Council (IPPC) Unity Committee hosted a new event this year – the Scholarship Celebrity Basketball Game, which was held on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. in the Waubonsie Valley High School main gym.
The event was a fun-filled family evening of “Globetrotters” style basketball in which one teacher/staff from each of our District 204 schools played local area celebrities.

This game was preceded by a Middle School Basketball Game in which four students from each of our six middle schools united to play each other. WVHS and NVHS Athletic Booster groups combined efforts to provide delicious food during the event. Naperville Connection TV Channel 17 was on hand to tape key moments of the event which aired on NCTV17 and was also available via their website.
